RPL Australia

Create your future through obtaining your Australian qualification

At RPL Australia we specialise in helping you get your Australian nationally recognised qualification by way of Skills Recognition and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

RPL Australia is in partnership with a range of strategic partners and fully Australian accredited and registered training organizations (RTO’s).

What is skills recognition?

Skills recognition means that the skills and knowledge you already have gained through on-the-job experience.  Skills recognition is endorsed by the Australian Government.

What is RPL?

RPL stands for ‘recognition of prior learning’. Some educational institutions refer to it as ‘credit transfer’. If you have previously done some formal studies you may get credit for it in your new qualification.   RPL is endorsed by the Australian Government.

How it works

•  Contact us to make a free appointment or for more info and application documents.
•  We assess your situation and help you collect all the evidence and paperwork.
•  We compile and consolidate your application.
• We refer your application to an appropriate strategic partner (and Australian Registered Training Organization) for the Skills Recognition and RPL process

What evidence do I need to provide?

Evidence consists of:

• An up-to-date resume (Curriculum Vitae)
• 3rd party assessment/validation
• Industry reference letters
• Copies of qualifications
• Copies of transcripts (A list of subjects done for a course)
• Other evidence as required by specific qualifications/subjects

The evidence you provide must be:

• valid
• sufficient
• authentic
• current
• in English

Overseas skills recognition and RPL

Skills recognition and RPL is a great way to obtain an Australian nationally recognized qualification if you are/were living oversees for most of your life. It is irrelevant how or where you acquired your skills and experience as long as you can demonstrate that you have them, and that they apply to the subjects in the qualification you want.
Benefits

If your skills are recognized before you get your qualification, it makes obtaining your qualification faster, cheaper and a lot more rewarding.

Getting a qualification by skills recognition and RPL cost less because you're not paying to learn things you are already competent in

Visas and Tax

We are not immigration agents and we do not provide any immigration advice. Contact your local immigration agent to find out if an Australian qualification will have an impact on visa and immigration applications.

Neither are we registered tax agents, so once again we do not provide any tax advice. Contact your local tax agent in order to find out if obtaining your qualification is a tax deductible expense.
